Your video stays on your premises
Depctor is built for organisations that cannot send every camera stream to the public cloud. Analysis happens on the edge device; the dashboard receives structured summary data — not continuous video upload.
-
On-premise processing
Object detection and face analytics run on the edge appliance at your site. Raw video for everyday operations remains under your physical and network control.
-
Summary data sync only
Counts, timestamps, visit records, alert events, and configuration sync travel to the Depctor dashboard over a secure connection — not full video streams.
-
Role-based access
The platform supports organisation, branch, and user-level permissions so each operator sees only the sites and data they are authorised to manage.
-
Device authentication
Each edge device is paired with a unique auth key. Optional two-factor verification adds an extra layer when devices are first registered to your account.
-
Local video retention
Event and visit clips are stored on the edge device according to your retention settings. Operators access playback through authorised dashboard workflows — not open public links.
-
Secure operator sign-in
Dashboard access uses verified sign-in with OTP and session controls designed to reduce unauthorised access from shared or unattended browsers.
Questions for your compliance review?
We are happy to walk your security or legal team through data flows, retention, and access controls before a pilot. Commercial terms and detailed data-processing agreements are provided during sales engagement — not on this public site.
