Connect your cameras
Use the IP cameras or NVR streams you already have on the local network. Depctor works with standard RTSP-compatible devices from major brands — no mandatory camera replacement.

Install the edge device
A small on-premise appliance at your location runs all video analysis locally. Choose hardware suited to your site — from compact Raspberry Pi deployments with AI acceleration to NVIDIA Jetson options for higher camera counts.

Authenticate & sync configuration
Each edge device is paired to your organisation through a secure auth key. Camera assignments, zones, schedules, and module settings are managed centrally and synced to the device.

Monitor from the cloud dashboard
Operators sign in to the Depctor web portal to view live counts, footfall, alerts, and device health across every branch they are permitted to access. Role-based access keeps each team in scope.

What leaves your building
Video is processed on the edge device. Only structured summary data — counts, timestamps, visit records, alert events — syncs securely to your dashboard. This keeps bandwidth low and puts you in control of sensitive footage.
